What is this forum?

For example, at some point soon, I will be releasing a web based tutorial on database development. When that happens there will be a discussion / feedback forum created so that users can discuss the content or give me feedback on what else might be wanted.
This board is also here so I can post up whatever I like... sorta like a blog.
To be perfectly honest, I don't really know what will become of this... it may be a complete waste of time. It may turn into a chess discussion forum for all I know
